Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Summary of secondary knowledge - Learn the types of chemical formulas, methods of expressing quantities of chemicals, solution composition, definition and determination of valence and its use in the nomenclature and redox reactions. Learning to write nonredox and redox chemical reactions. Mastering the stoichiometric calculations.

Course contents:
Nomenclature of inorganic compounds. Mass of matter. Relationships between the quantities which express mass of matter.
Composition of systems of chemical components. Mole, density of solutions. Concentrations.Balance of material in the systems without chemical process. Crystallisation.Balance of material in the systems with chemical process. Stoichiometric calculations. Determination of stoichiometric coefficients in redox reactions.
