Assesment methods:
During the semester are written two written tests of the given material. If students demonstrate over 56% control of the curriculum they undertake the examination according to the success of the tests. To obtain evaluation A, it is need to demonstrate control of the curriculum to at least 92%, for evaluation B to at least 83%, for evaluation C to at least 74%, for evaluation D to at least 65% and for evaluation E to at least 56%.
 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student receives principled basis for the preparation of nanomaterials as special organic and inorganic materials used as catalysts, nanoadsorbenty, fillers, carriers, component of paints and other specialty organic materials, pharmaceuticals, liquid crystals.
 
Course contents:
Systematically are taken different types of nanomaterials, their specific chemical and physical properties, methods of their preparation and application. Specific examples are demonstrated principles of construction of the structure of nanomaterials, discussed are methods for their preparation and characterization, determination of their chemical and physical properties, health, environmental and economic aspects of their use and production.
