|Learning outcomes of the course unit:|
|Students have insight into the system of information and tools - knowledge and methods of analytical chemistry - neccessary for trace analysis of inorganic and organic compounds in various matrices, mainly the samples from natural and workspace environment. They know the specific features and limitations of analysis in small concentrations or small amounts and volumes, they know the characteristics of used materials and tools. They know the details on methods for sampling, sample processing and analysis, and the ways of their application on environmental matrices and samples as waters, soil, sediments, sludges, waste, atmosphere. They can interpret the results of analyses.
|Trace analysis, microanalysis. Classification of methods and material for trace analysis. The sampling, types of samples. Analytical methods for trace analysis. Combined methods in trace analysis. The basics of environmental analysis. The analysis of waters, atmosphere, soil and waste. Analytical control of environment - institutions and legislation.
