Requirement for the credit:
- active participation in lab work
- hand-over of both assignments
- getting at least 22 points during the semester



 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The goal is to acquire knowledge about:

Principles of information systems
Distributed architecture, Service oriented architecture (SOA)
Web services
Cloud Computing
Special types of information systems - geographic information systems, library information systems, etc.
 
Course contents:
The concept of information system.
Standards of data exchange - introduction to XML language.
Modeling and management of business processes. BPMN language.
Service oriented architecture.
WSDL Web services, REST approach, microservices.
Cloud computing.
Overview of information systems, taxonomy of information systems.
