Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Deepen theoretical knowledge and practical skills of students in the field of methods of design, construction, characterization and prediction of properties of advanced semiconductor devices with support of 2/3-D numericla modeling and simulation. Characterization and parameters extraction with physical interpretation of experimental results.
 
Course contents:
Methodology of design, construction, analysis and prediction of the properties of advanced semicondutor devices (MOSFET, HEMT, HBT, DMOS,...). 2/3-D modeling and simulation of electrical properties of semiconductor structures and devices. Measurement and parameters extraction. Optoelectronic devices. Organic electronics.
