Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Students will gain knowledge about new technology using environmentally friendly catalysts and processes. He can give an opinion on the possibility of using renewable raw materials for new processes.
Course contents:
The aim is to gone through the new technologies, which uses environmentally friendlier catalysts and methods of preparation, point out the renewable resources.
Environmental technologies in the field of organic synthesis and petrochemistry. Replacement of ecologically and technically unsuitable catalysts and methods of preparation with new and highly selective processes, so called "green", wasteless technologies in the production of commodities and specialty organic chemicals and materials. Replacement of petroleum based feedstock for renewable.
