Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Development of knowledge about preparation, structure and properties of engineering polymers and its application.
Course contents:
Basic type of engineering plastics
Material selection criteria. Basic plastics. Technical polymers. High performance polymers. Heat-resisting polymers. Inorganic polymers
Liquid crystal polymers, hybride materials-Thermotropic and lyotropic mesomorphism. Hybride polymeric materials and its applications.
