Assesment methods:
Test in 10th semestral week. Project work out and presentation. The maximum 20 % of total point score is possibe to get during seminars. The exam consists of two parts - written and oral, together 80 % of total point score. The final evaluation: A 92-100%, B 83-91 %, C 74-82 %, D 65-73 %, E 56–64 %, FX 0-55 %.
 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student obtains the theoretical and practical knowledge from the field of alternative joing methods of materials (mechanical joining, adhesive joining, progressive soldering and brazing, plastics welding and hybrid joining methods) and will be able to apply them in design of joints with given requirements.
