Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The aim is to expand students knowledge of safety and health at work and teach them to searching and quantifying risks at work and the work environment. Next is use of adopted risk management methods for its elimination or minimization or in evaluation of the safety of systems and project safeguards.

Lectures:
1. Accidents. Learning from accidents.
2. Human factors and risks.
3. Statistics for the risk analysis
4. Qualitative and quantitative methods of risk analysis.
5. Point method. FMEA, HAZOP, FTA
6. Computer tools for risk analysis.

Seminars
1. Accidents, procedures to prevent accidents.
2. Human factor
3. The procedure of risk analysis, computing of the probability
4. Risk calculation and consequences.
5. The application of risk analysis methods.
