Assesment methods:
Continuous assessment:
Active participation in exercises: Students has to be prepared for exercises. Otherwise, the teacher may recommend a student an alternative date of exercises or specify alternative work.
Active participation in lectures: The two selected lectures, the teacher can test the students´ knowledge. The short test can contain 4 multiple choice questions. Solution time - 10-15 minutes.
Control work: During the semester the student demonstrates its knowledge in solving the tasks of two tests (5, 10 week semester, max. 10 points). During the semester, the student prepares a semester assignment (max. 10 points).
Final assessment:
Written exam: The form of written exam is final test (max. 80 points). The test contains 10 multiple choice questions, each for 8 points, together 80 points. Teacher solved the test in 20 minutes. Student is available 60 minutes. Student complete necessary information (name, identification number) before the start of the countdown time.

Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Provide students with knowledge of the assembly to allow act as a bachelor at work in the role of engineer assistant or input knowledge for specialized master study of the technological orientation.
 
Course contents:
•Assembly as subsystem of the manufacturing system, main factors influencing profit in assembly (product, technology, technics, human, information and material flow).
•Basic terms in assembly (pronominal, selective, internal, external, manual, automated, small series, large series and similarly) Product construction and assembly.
•Assembly Technologies.
•Assembly hardware.
•Information and material flow.
•Economy in Assembly.
•Assembly automation.
•Ergonomics in Assembly.
