Assesment methods:
Elaboration of the 1-st tests in the middle and 2-nd test at the end of course, 50 points/test, total 100 points. To obtain Mark A at least 92 points must be obtained, to obtain B at least 83 points, C at least 74 points, D at least 65 points and E of at least 56 points. Credits shall be granted to a student who even during the trial period obtained from the test at least 56 points.
 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Educate students in manufacturing of most important organic compounds, their using in praxis and everyday life, with an emphasis placed on chemical, ecological and economic factors of processes.
 
Course contents:
The aim is to educate students in manufacturing of most important organic compounds, their using in praxis and everyday life, with an emphasis placed on chemical, ecological and economic factors of processes. Processing of crude oil, natural gas, coal to fuels, petrochemicals,and commodity organic chemicals for manufacturing of plastics, surfactantas, pesticides, antioxidants, coatings, etc.
