Processing a case study determined by consulting the teacher to get a successful evaluation.
 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Students will acquire knowledge in the area of typified technological equipment and the principles of their function. It will also gain knowledge of the safety of operation of such devices and will learn the principles of assessment and risk assessment using sophisticated procedures and methods. The student is able to use the acquired knowledge for a comprehensive assessment of the safety and risks of real technological devices and is able to propose correct and feasible measures on the basis of this knowledge.
 
Course contents:
- Principles of comprehensive assessment and risk analysis
- Selected methods of risk assessment and analysis in the context of technological equipment safety
- Selected standardized technological devices, principles of their work and safety of operation
- Complex assessment of the risks of technological equipment and its operation
- Design of measures and corrective actions for the risks of technological equipment
