Interview of student with teacher about funtamentals of the subject.
 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The course is focused on the obtaining greater knowledges from the physics of materials, with emphasis on the explanation of transport and transformation processes in solids. In the selection of study topics, the specialization of the student will be taken into consideration.
 
Course contents:
The bonds between atoms, the building of materials, the theory of lattice defects, thermal- and stress-induced interactions between lattice defects, diffusion, transformation processes in solids, theory of reinforcing and fracture of materials
