Assesment methods:
During the semester, the subject will be consulted. Assessment of the subject will consist of a successful solution to the problem of physical chemistry of burning, explosion and extinguishing.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student controls principles of physical chemistry related to fire, explosion and fire. He is able to realize physico-chemical calculations in this field and is able to design technical solutions in the field of science and research.

- The energy of burning and explosion processes
- Equilibrium states
- Kinetics of homogeneous combustion and explosion reactions
- Kinetics of heterogeneous processes in burning and explosion
- Thermodynamic characteristics of explosives and flammables
- Combustion and explosion in gaseous mixtures
- Flame and burning
- Explosive gas and dust mixtures
- Combustion in dusty mixtures, liquids and solids
- Physical-chemical principles of fire extinguishing
