| Learning outcomes of the course unit: |
| Students have the knowledge on a system of obtaining the information on technological processes by laboratory analysis and technology on-site analysis, and by the analysis of exposed environment. They know the ways of automation and miniaturisation of analytical measuring devices, their regimes of work and calibration. They know neccessary conditions of product quality analytical control, of technological process control and the effects on environment by leakage of contaminants. |

| Course contents: |
Overview of methods for process analysis and laboratory analysis for technology. Sampling strategy, the methodology of sampling the representative sample of materials and reaction mixtures from technological production and of sample processing for analysis. Available measuring systems. Process analysis. Interpretation of analysis results. Quality control of products. The possibilities of speeding up and automation of process analysis.
