Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student has knowledge on analytical application of biochemical agent interactions, biosensors, bioanalytical techniques, principles of DNA and protein sequencing, methods of biological sample analysis and biometric evaluation of results.
Course contents:
Bioanalytical sampling
Sampling, transport, storage and preparation of biological samples
Biosensors (enzyme, immunochemistry, nucleic acids, biomimetic receptors, construction of biosensors, nanotechnology, biosensor detection systems, characteristics and analytical applications of biosensors)
Electroseparation methods for bioanalytes
Comet assay, fluorescence microscopy
Nucleic acids sequencing
Clinical analysis. Determination of selected analytes
Therapeutic drug monitoring and toxicological analysis
Chemometry in bioanalytical chemistry
