| Learning outcomes of the course unit: |
| Series of lectures focuses on the interpretation of the nature of artistic eras, styles and styles in historical and culturological context. Seminars are focused on selected specific issues of technical and technological background of the development of fine and applied arts and architecture. |

| Course contents: |
| Subject follows the historical development of art and architecture created during ancient times. It points to the shared art styles of Mesopotamia and Egypt, the formation of ancient Greek and Roman art and architecture. It monitors the emergence of European medieval centers and their art production. It deasl with the problems and the onset of the renaissance and baroque art and architectural currents. 19th cent. be confronted as exact onset of artistic practices influenced by industrialization and technological inventions. It will be observed the emergence of latent modernity and its fulfillment in the avant-garde 20th century polemic in the post-modern art works. |
