|Level of study:||2.|
|Prerequisites for registration:||none|
|Final written exam 100 points, to obtain a rating A must be obtained at least 75 points, to obtain rating B at least 70 points, the C rating at least 65 points, the rating D at least 60 points D and rating E at least 55 points.|
|Learning outcomes of the course unit:|
|Student will gain knowledge of the theoretical foundations of electroanalytical chemistry. Student has knowledge of the electrodes, polarization and depolarization, electrochemical cells, electrode reactions, kinetics, reversibility and irreversibility. He has knowledge of potentiometry, potentiometric electrodes, pH measurement, membrane and ion-selective electrodes. Student gain knowledge of voltammetric methods, polarography, linear sweep voltammetry, cyclic and hydrodynamic voltammetry and voltammetric titration. He has knowledge of the pulse voltammetric methods, modified electrodes and microelectrodes, stripping voltametry, potential controlled coulometry, coulometric titrations, conductometry and high-frequency conductometry, electrochemical flow analysis and application of electroanalytical methods in process analysis.|
