|During the semester will be held two written tests, each for max. 40 points. To obtain A rating it is necessary at least 36 points, to obtain B rating - at least 33 points, C rating - at least 29 points, D rating - at least 26 points, and E rating - at least 22 points. Credits will not be awarded to a student unless it receives at least 22 points for each test.|
|Learning outcomes of the course unit:|
|The student has knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of human skin. He is familiar with identifying beneficial and harmful physical, chemical and biological effects affecting its vital functions. He is able to describe the importance of personal-care products and the most important cosmetic products in relation to the protection of the human skin.|
|Cosmetics, cosmetology, dermatology - meaning of the terms and scope of the definition.
The characteristics of human skin. Cosmetic aspects of the anatomy of the human skin.
Epidermis. The most important epidermis cells. Epidermis biorhythm - cosmetic aspects.
Horn - structure, health and beauty aspects. Cosmetics supporting barrier properties horn.
Extracellular skin matrix - structure, health and beauty aspects.
Melanocytes. Importance of trade cosmetics against overexposure to sunlight.
Derma - structure, health and beauty aspects.
Subcutaneous adipose connective tissue - structure, health and beauty aspects.
Subsidiary bodies of the skin - structure, health and beauty aspects.
Anatomy and hair biorhythm - cosmetic aspects.
Physiology of the skin. Importance of cosmetics in the protection of the skin physiological functions.
Developmental stages of the skin. Importance of cosmetics under the age of human.
