Assesment methods:
During semester the student should pass two written tests (in the 8th and the 12th week of semester). Maximum points they could obtain is 40. The tests are oriented on the ability of students to solve material balances of complex systems without and with chemical reactions.
Score: A 92-100 %, B 63-91 %, C 74-82 %, D 65-73 %, E 56-64 %, FX 0-55 %
 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The aim is to explain material balances of batch and continuous multicomponent systems, without and with chemical reactions. To explain composition of streams, stoichiometry, conversion, reaction extent. Draw the balance scheme, balance table, solve the systems of balance equations.
