Assesment methods:
During the semester are written three written tests of the given material. If students demonstrate over 56% control of the curriculum they undertake the examination according to the success of the tests. To obtain evaluation A, it is need to demonstrate control of the curriculum to at least 92%, for evaluation B to at least 83%, for evaluation C to at least 74%, for evaluation D to at least 65% and for evaluation E to at least 56%.
 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The student will acquire an overview of the different methods of quality monitoring of raw materials, intermediate and output products in the chemical technology or the technology of materials, including sample preparation and data evaluation. Knows the methods referred to also be used for operational control during standard and non-standard situations in the production process (find the cause of the reduced activity of the catalysts, identification of unknown substances generated during the manufacturing process, identify the reasons for exceeding the standard parameters, et al.). The student is able to apply particular selected physicochemical methods to control technology.
 
Course contents:
Overview of the different methods of quality control of raw materials, intermediate and output products in chemical technology or in the technology of materials, including sample preparation and evaluation of data, methods of operational control during standard and non-standard situations in the production process.
