Elaboration of project and oral examination with rating at least 56 points from 100.
 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
To teach students the methods of process design for manufacturing of chosen chemical compounds, containing basic technology, flowsheets of equipments, material and energetic balance, process control, safety and analysis of components.
 
Course contents:
Steps of process designing, types of projects, selection criteria of appropriate technology, pilot plant experiments, marketing and preparation of investment, technological equipments, tubes, tanks, transport of gases, liquids and solids, reactors, separators, heat exchangers, regulation and process control, process safety, ecological problems.
