Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Processing of crude oil, natural gas, coal to fuels, petrochemicals,and commodity organic chemicals for manufacturing of plastics, surfactantas, pesticides, antioxidants, coatings, etc.
 
Course contents:
The aim is to educate students in manufacturing of most important organic compounds, their using in praxis and everyday life, with an emphasis placed on chemical, ecological and economic factors of processes. Processing of crude oil, natural gas, coal to fuels, petrochemicals,and commodity organic chemicals for manufacturing of plastics, surfactantas, pesticides, antioxidants, coatings, etc.
