Assesment methods:
In the course of the semester will be necessary to develop case studies of businesses for 20 points, credit will be granted to a student who obtains from a case study at least 15 points. The remaining points needed in the evaluation of a student obtains the written and oral exams.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
A student recognition of theoretical aspects an methods of the strategic decision - making in technologies. He will be the mediation of possibilities to apply methods and techniques of the strategic decision - making in marketing and production technologies.
Course contents:
Basic concepts, characterization, goals of the strategic management.
Visions, mission and company goals.
Modeling of the strategic management process in the company.
Analysis of the external environment.
Forecasting and its methods for the analysis of development in the external environment.
Analysis of the internal environment in the company.
Business strategies.
Business strategies in selected situations.
Company strategies.
Functional strategies and their position in the company hierarchy.
Strategic implementation.
Assessment and control in the strategic management.
Practical application of a particular strategy in the enterprise.
