A prerequisite to the examination is the active presence at the seminars and the successful passing the test of solving numerical problems.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
To acquaint students with the principles of empirical analysis of reaction rates,reaction energetics, theories of chemical kinetics, kinetics of reaction in gas and liquid phase, homogeneous catalysis, enzyme catalysis and heterogeneous catalysis.
Course contents:
Empirical analysis of reaction rates.
Reaction energetics and chemical kinetics.
Reactions in gas and liquid phase.
Homogeneous catalysis. Autocatalysis.
Enzyme catalysis.
Heterogeneous catalysis.
