|Learning outcomes of the course unit:|
|Laboratory practice with the analytical techniques applied in the conservation of cultural heritage.|
|Laboratory exercises aimed at analysis of materials and their components, analysis of the material structure, separation of the material components.
Identification of chemical components of materials by the methods of spectral analysis, NMR, solid-state NMR, RTG, FTIR, ATR, XRF, IR microscopy and microscopy in polarized light, thermoanalytical methods.
Determination of colour coordinates, gloss, scattering and surface roughness.
Accelerated ageing studied by FTIR and thermoanalytical methods,
Determination of the degradation degree of polymers by the capillary viscometry.
