Assesment methods:
During semester students will write 2 tests. They can gain 20 points. The gained points will be included into the final evaluation of a student. If a studet gains at least 20% of these points, after finishing the course, he/she can write a final overview test (theoretical questions and examples concerning all topics of the lectures). Students can gain 80 points. For sucessful passing the exam they need to gain at least 56 points from all 100 possible points.
 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Students acquire basic knowledge on differential and integral calculus of real functions of several variables, differential equations, vector functions, lines integrals, number and power series necessary for their successful professional study.
 
Course contents:
Basic knowledge in differential and integral calculus of real functions of several variables. Ordinary differential equations. Linear differential equations of the first and second order with constant coefficients and their applications in physics and chemistry. Vector fields, line integrals. Number series. Power series and their applications.
