|Learning outcomes of the course unit:|
|Students will take practice and will be in detail familiar in methods of interpretation and evaluation of chemical analysis data. Absolvent can evaluate uncertainties of measurement results.
|Calculation techniques for approximate data, principles of handling with approximate numbers.
Rounding and correct record of results of calculation results.
Laboratory diary records, correct chemical and analytical terms. Plots and correct construction of graphs.
Methods of description and calculation of mixture concentrations. Stoichiometry and laws of conservation (mass, charge)
Measurement of weight and volume in analytical chemistry. Solution preparation and uncertainty of concentration of prepared solution. Dilution and uncertainty of final concentration.
Calculation of simple direct volumetric determination and uncertainty of result. Back titration and uncertainty of its result.
Gravimetric determination and its result uncertainty.
Effect of condition at chemical analysis on determination result, trueness. Indication of chemical reaction stoichiometry, condition for completeness of reaction, completeness of separation, precipitation, impact of interferences.
Application of basic statistic procedures in evaluation of analytical data. error, deviation and uncertainty. Averages, median, result as interval, basic distribution of stochastic quantities. Outliers. Basic statistical tests.
Calibration and standardization. corrections. Regression. Calculation of determination result from linear calibration line. Nonlinear calibration curve. Uncertainty of results obtained from calibration curve. Calibration by standard addition method, application, uncertainty of result.
Impact of noise in instrumental procedures of analytical measurements.
