There is no monitoring of student's knowledge during the course.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student is able to orientate in on-line available scientific databases for biology; student will obtain ability to looking for data about structure, function and properties of biomacromolecules and biochemicals and on this base to develop working necessary hypothesis for laboratory practice in molecular medicine and biochemistry.
Course contents:
Utilization of scientific journals databases (PubMed, Web of Knowledge, Scopus...); looking for desiderative information and their compilation to integral projections.
Utilization of program packets ACD/ChemSketch freeware version in depiction of 3D structure of chemicals and for approximation of their physico-chemicals properties.
Utilization of nucleic acid and protein sequence databases and their application for laboratory practice in biological laboratory.
