Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The student will acquire basic knowledge of electricity and magnetism, mechanical and electromagnetic waves, quantum physics and nuclear physics. He is able to understand how the simple electrical circuits work and he is able to solve the model physical problems.
Course contents:
Basic properties of electric charge and electrostatic field. Work and potential on the electrostatic field. Electrostatic field in dielectrics. Electric current. Magnetism. Elektromagnetic induction. Alternating current and alternating-current Circuits. Waves. Acustics. Elektromagnetic waves. Atomic nucleus, nuclear decay. Photoelectric effect. Photon. Hydrogen atom model.
