To gain the basic knowledge from recombinant technologies and methods used for clonning.
Course contents:
1.Introduction to recombinant technologies, structures and expression of nucleotide acids
2.Isolation and purification of DNA molecules
3.Basic characterization of enzymes used for DNA manipulation and separation
4.Plasmids as cloning vectors
5.Bacteriophages as cloning vectors
6.Introduction of DNA into eukaryotic cells
7.Labelling and hybridization of nucleic acids
8.Properties, preparation and application of DNA libraries
9.Obtaining specific gene
10.Localization of gene in DNA molecule
11.Basis of PCR
12.Sequencing DNA
13.Genetically modified organisms
