Subject is completed by submitting the project documentation developed in a level Realization project.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Based on acquired knowledge of ventilation, air conditioning and cooling, the student solves a project of a residential, commercial or industrial nature in an individual airing technique profession. The project documentation itself will consist of a calculation and a drawing part, a technical report and a list of components and equipment used.
Course contents:
• Introduction into the project - the form and the content of project documentation. Legislation, regulations and standards. Choosing a concept of airing technique (ventilation, air conditioning) and cooling for a particular building object.

Calculation part:
• Energy balance of single rooms, calculation of heat loss, thermal and moisture loads, pollutants production calculation (dust, gases, vapors)
• Airflow determination (outdoor, supply, exhaust, circulatory and waste air)
• Calculation and design of airing technique unit including dimensioning of single chambers (filter chamber, chamber of heat recovery, mixing chamber, heater, cooler, humidifier). Design of machinery room
• Calculation and design of terminal elements (distribution, inlet and exhaust terminals)
• Design of fire fighting elements
• Calculation and design of noise suppresors
• Dimensioning of distribution network, fan dimensioning (supply and exhaust fans)
• Calculation and design of cooling equipment

Drawing part (scale 1:50, 1:100):
• Distribution network plans and sections
• Machinery room plans and sections
• Plan of roof with airing technique unit placement

• Technical report
• List of the components and equipment used
