|Learning outcomes of the course unit:|
|The course extends students' knowledge of energy assessment of buildings, as well as energy audit and the energy certification. This course is based on the energy balance of building, its thermal losses and heat gains. It also includes the energy systems of buildings - heating, hot water preparation, ventilation, air conditioning, cooling and lighting. It extends the theoretical knowledge and practical experience of students in the area of reducing the energy consumption of buildings. Students will learn to produce an energy certificate for different places of energy consumption as well as the building energy consumption as a whole.|
| Energy performance of buildings in the state administration, mutual relation of the capital and operational energy performance.
Energy balance of buildings, requirements for parameters -- building structures, central heating, heating-up of warm service water, HVAC, artificial lighting and other energy equipments of buildings.
Process of the energy audit of buildings, process of energy conservation -- ENCON.
Method of key numbers, key numbers for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd level, key numbers for various types of buildings. Application of the calculation program ENSI -- Key Number Software.
Energy saving and rationalization measures.
Technical and economical evaluation of the project.
Identification and inspection of the project.
Energy audit, process, calculations, final report and presentation.
Contracts and realization of the project.
Operation and maintenance.
Energy management, ET-curves.
