|Learning outcomes of the course unit:|
|The student obtains knowledge on measurement of underground structures made by mining activity (underground and surface mines), tunnels, underground nuclear power plant structures, caves and structures of geological and hydrological prospection. Principles of underground control network design and building, methodology of connecting measurements (orientation, high determination). Methodology of preparation and management of underground measurements, their documentation and archiving. Legislative and technical regulations for mine surveying and the role (position) of the surveyor in this field.|
|1.Legislative regulations connected to the underground structure measurement. The role and position of the mine surveyor and the master (principal) mine surveyor.
2.Measurement methods, instrumentation for underground measurement. Connecting measurements. Data processing and analysis. Quality criteria and their fulfilling.
3.Control network design and building for underground mines. Management, renovation and archiving of surveying documents (legislative and technical background).
4.Setting-out works in mines. Setting-out of the break-through of two mines and two tubes. Setting-out data calculation, a priori and a posterior accuracy analysis.
5.Surveying tasks for design and operation of surface mines. Document preparation for -- design, control network building, setting-out. Management, renovation, archiving of mine surveyor documentation of the surface mine.
6.Geodetic activities connected to the cave prospection, opening and protection. Underground structures of historical objects and buildings. Legislative and technical background. The role and position of the surveyor.
7.Geodetic activities connected to the design, building and operation of tunnels. Classification of tunnels, tunnel excavation technology (history and present trends). Setting-out and control measurement during tunnel excavation.
