Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student will gain basic knowledge about modern programming language, C#, Microsoft Visual Studio, .net Framework platform and application programming in this environment. This knowledge then can be applied in practice during software development in IT companies.
 
Course contents:
- A brief introduction to the C# language, .net Framework and Microsoft Visual Studio
- C# specifics in object-oriented programming
- Input-output operations
- Work with binary and text files
- Exception handling
- Threads and parallel data processing
- Delegates and interfaces
- Graphical user interface
