|Learning outcomes of the course unit:|
|On completion of the course students will know foundations of Mathematica regarding symbolic and numerical calculations, graphics in the plane, work with vectors and matrices, differential and integral calculus and further selected methods used of applied mathematics. They will be used for illustration of mathematical notions from theoretical lectures as well as for practical symbolic and numerical computations.|

- Derivatives and integrals, Taylor series.
- Graphics in the plane.
- Working with arrays and matrices in Mathematica.
