Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Students will become familiar with radiant heating systems, heating systems used in large-scale structures, decentralized heating sources, heat recovery and combined heating and ventilation.
 
Course contents:
 Radiant heating, division, thermal balance of a radiant heated interior.
 Large-area radiant floor panel heating, ceiling panel radiant heating, wall panel radiant heating. Control and heating mode on a floor, ceiling and wall panel heating.
 Overall heating by suspended radiant panels. Estimation of the heating power and structural solution of suspended radiant panels. Heating mode of heating by radiant panels.
 Heating by infrared emitters. Estimation of the heat power and structural solution of infrared emitters. Kinds of infrared emitters. Heating mode of heating by infrared emitters.
 Warm air heating. Kinds of warm air heating. Estimation of the heating power and structural solution. Heating mode for warm air heating.
 Combined heating -- heating by suspended radiant panels and warm air heating units.
 Electric heating. Division of electric heating equipment. Large-area electric floor, wall and ceiling panel heating. Electric accumulation oven. Estimation of heating power. Structural solution. Heating mode.
