|Learning outcomes of the course unit:|
|The student will become familiar with the very demanding problems of the heating of buildings -- the theory of the calculation and design of tubular piping networks for central heating in building structures, as well as district heating. Using practical examples students will practice exercise calculation and design of piping networks in heating technology.|
| Theory and techniques of the calculation of tubular networks for central heating.
Tubular networks of warm water-based heating systems with gravity circulation of heat-carrying working substances. Warm water-based two-pipe heating systems with gravity circulation with respect to the cooling of heat-carrying substances in distribution piping. Serving one flat and vertical one-pipe heating systems with gravity circulation of the heat-carrying working substances.
Tubular networks of warm water-based heating systems with forced circulation of the heat-carrying working substances. Thermal and hydronic stability of the piping networks of water-based heating systems.
Control of the heating power of warm water-based heating systems. Thermal and hydronic stability of heating systems with forced circulation of the heat-carrying working substance. Degree of stability and hydronic balancing.
Tubular networks of hot water-based heating systems.
Tubular networks of low-pressure vapour heating systems.
Thermal insulation, coating, protection and hangers for the piping of heating systems and heating appliances.
