Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The aim is to inform student about oveall operation of construction, duties and competences of construction manager, assistant of construction manager and construction supervision, with the technological stages of construction. Also work activities corresponding to technological processes and the organization of labour at construction site.
Course contents:
Monitor progress and effectiveness of construction works, technological and organizational measures, use of vehicles and construction machinery, adhering of safety at work according to Decree 374 / 1990 Z.z., administration of primary documents and site diary.
Monitor the methodology of the construction supervision work, during measurements, tests and clearance according to accreited rules and relevant technology or STN EN standards.
Monitor work of construction manager and construction manager assistant, participate in production meetings, monitor realization and fulfillment of works according to time plan.
Maintaining of own site diary.
Within a certain date, all students who are participating in this course will be instructed on safety at construction, which is ensured by safety technician provided by department of Building technology. Students can not pass the course withouth these instructions.
Before starting the professional practice, the construction company also commits on the contract award letter to provide a training to inform about safety at work which refers to the place and conditions of particular construction. Students can only enter the site using personal protective equipment of the individual, i.e. safety helmet, appropriate clothing and footwear (provided by company).
