Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Completing the course the student will receive a comprehensive insight into the various types of disorders that occur on the materials and construction of buildings. Course contents:

 Constructional-technical examination and assessment of buildings. Diagnostic methods of determining the causes of faults and failures. Devices and equipment.
 Failures, reconstructions and rehabilitations of foundation constructions
 Failures and rehabilitations of vertical bearing constructions
 Failures, rehabilitations and reconstructions of ceiling constructions
 Failures and rehabilitations of building envelopes
 Failures and rehabilitations of flat roofs. Repairs and reconstructions of sloped roofs
 Repairs, rehabilitations and reconstructions of chimneys
 Rehabilitations of damp masonry
