Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The aim is to explore a knowledge in the field of modern electrochemical techniques (spectroelectrochemistry, sensorics, photovoltaics) including theoretical aspects (thermodynamics, simulation procedures) applied in laboratory and scientific investigations.
 
Course contents:
Difusion. Adsorption. Electrocapillarity. Working electrodes. Kinetic aspects. Marcus theory. Modern voltammetric techniques (cyclic voltammetry, spectroelectrochemistry, reaction mechanisms solved by electrochemistry, electrochemical scanning microscopy). Electrochemical and fuel cells. Photovoltaic and optoelectronic devices.
