The range of seminary work: min. 12 pages of the text + graphic + photo documentation upload a formed on a CD.
 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Examination of regional specifics of vernacular architecture could bring knowledge of the main characteristics of environment & social structure of countryside population and all other aspects that influence creation of particular housing types and regional housing forms. In the history, Vernacular architecture in Slovakia was resistant against stylish influences and its primary role was played by function. It is tightly connected to particular environment / region in which is situated, mainly in material basis. In comparison with new houses, creates harmony with nature meanwhile offering good conditions for living. Original construction methods are repeated not be pushing out by new techniques.

Particularity of Typological classes, Mutual characteristics and Differences of Vernacular and Architecture of Particular Historical Styles
- Function, utility and Beauty
- Architecture in the Countryside and its Traditional Housing Style according to Slovak regions -- South and South-West Slovakia
- Architecture in the Countryside and its Traditional Housing Style according to Slovak regions -- North and North-West Slovakia
- Architecture in the Countryside and it's Traditional Housing Style according to Slovak regions -- East and Eastern-North Slovakia
- Architecture in the Countryside and it's Housing Style according to Slovak regions -- Area of medieval mining cities
- Vernacular House and its' Presence, Protected areas of Vernacular Architecture and their usage -- Podbiel, Čičmany, Ždiar, Osturňa, Vlkolínec
- Vernacular House and its' Presence, Protected areas of Vernacular Architecture and their usage --Brhlovce, Sebechleby -- Stará Hora, Plavecký Peter, Špania Dolina
- Vernacular House and Prospects for Duration of its' Classical Housing Form
