Prerequisites for registration: passed Industrial Design Studio II (1_APD2_D)
Assesment methods:
The aim of course study is improving of gained creative potential by creation complex of space structures in ecological context during individual atelier course. The knowledges from other artistic, technical and scientific subjects, which students already gradutated during the study (color harmony course, ergonomy, rapid prototyping) are required. Design should accept proposed technological limits. Design coresponds with education and knowledges gained during the study by its range and quality. Student improves his skills obtained in Atelier of industrial design II. The pedagogue grants atelier topics relevant to student talent development after the consultation with garant of study program. Final result work should be the design – concept of more sofisticated industrialy produced product.

Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Fulfilling of conditions of faculty study plan – obligate course presency. Work-in-progress check in 4th and 10th semester week. Obligated is also a personal presentation on final atelier thesis argumentation.

The first work-in-progress check presents 20% from total evaluation. Atelier pedagogue provides the first work-in-progress check. Student presents the results of reseach, idea sketches (drawn manually or digitally) and total idea of design.

The second work-in-progress check (in 10th week of semester) presents max. 30% from total evaluation. Commision of 3 pedagogues provide the second work-in-progress check. Student presents especially visualisation of design and working prototype in relevant quality and scale. The final atelier thesis argumentation equals max.50 % of total evaluation. Student presents his atelier work verbally and visually. Visual part of presentation consists from model (in relevant scale defined by pedagogue) and poster (70x100cm).

Student is obligated to fullfil all required propositions and obtain min. 56% of points of total to pass this subject. Final evaluations is according to FA STU clasiffication range.
