Assesment methods:
The student´s attendance to the subject is compulsory according to provisions of the FA STU Study Order. The specified number of assignments is required for passing the subject. Each assignment is evaluated separately; disqualification of one of them means failure in the subject. To obtain the credits for the subject, min 56% of the total number of the points is required. The resulting mark is according to the classification scale, specified in the FA STU Study Order
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
By passing the subject, the student will acquire basic skills in using the methods and techniques of the urban part of the work on land use planning documentation, as well as basic principles of cooperation and coordination of public transportation and technical services of the solved area. The student will understand the principles of an urban concept through regulation of the area and regulation of individual building constructions on both the levels of a settlement and a zone.
Course contents:
The aim of the subject is design of a land use plan of a zone and a land use plan of a settlement. The subject contains three assignments:
1. Adaptation of an urban solution of a zone by amendments to the existing urban plan of a settlement.
2. Design of a selected part of a zone up to the level of landuse or build-up plan on the zonal level.
3. Drawing of the planned regulation into the town plan.
The assignments are accompanied by short text and tables. The students work on the first assignment in pairs, the second, and the third assignments are worked on individually.
