Assesment methods:
During the semester there will be credit tests (40%).
To acomplish credit a student must obtain at least 20% of 40 points from credit tests, Additional 60 points can be obtained on the final exam. For final grade A at least 92, for B 83, C 74, D 65 and for E 56 points are needed.

Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Students will learn fundamentals of linear algebra and mathematical analysis. They will be able to solve systems of linear equations using elimination methods and to use differential calculus to investigatte the properties of real functions of one real variable. Solving particular mathematical problems the student will learn some fundamental techniques using in calculus and linear algebra. They will be able to use those knowledge in physics and engineering.

1. reálne a komplexné čísla
2. elimination methods of solving system of linear equations
3. determinants, sum and product of matrices, inverse matrix
4. polynomials and rational functions
5. definítion of a function, boundedness. odd and even functions, periodic functions
6. limit of a function and sequence
7. derivative of a function and its computing
8. the Rolle, Lagrange Theorem, monotonicity of functions, local extremes
9. convex a concave functions, asymptotes
10.Sequencešs and series, convergent and divergent series
11.Geometric series, power series
12.Taylor theorem and Taylor series
