Assesment methods:
Student needs to complete two control examinations 10 points each and works out projects 30 points summarily. Student can obtain 50 points during final exam. The grade granted to student results from the sum of points obtained during seminars and points obtained during final exam.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student will have basic knowledge in computer aided electrotechnic scheme creation and knowledge in computer technical documentation using software AutoCAD. Student will use the knowledge during the process of computational model design. He will be able to use system Matlab-Simulink on basic level. Student will be able to utilize obtained knowledge during work on given projects in further study.
Course contents:
Module introduction. Technical documentation in electrotechnics and mechatronics. Basics of CAD software AutoCAD. Creation of electrotechnic schmes and CAD documentation of electrotechnic and mechatronic parts and components using software AutoCAD. Basics of 3D parts and assemblies modelling, generation of technical documentation using the 3D model. Basics of software Matlab: elementary mathematical operations, functions, polynomials, matrices, graph and data processing. Interconnection of software Matlab-Simulink with computer programs used in common engineering practice.
