Attend 12 exercises (max. 36 points), written exam 64 points. Condition of passing of exam is getting 56% of the specified points.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Student after completion of this course will be knowledgeable in the types and use of energy, in the application of new technologies and economic evaluation of access to different sources of energy. Becomes familiar with energy-environmental and legislative aspects of the use of electricity. Will know environmentally and economically evaluate the selection of individual types of energy or household. for the company.
Course contents:
Importance of energy for the life of the individual and society. Overview of all kinds of energy available in the world and how to use them. The energy policy of the Slovak Republic and the EU. Technologies for households and for practice. Marking individual types of energy. Legislative conditions for customers and energy suppliers in Slovakia and the EU. Technical and legal and environmental aspects of electricity. Rationalization of energy consumption, energy efficiency, energy label. Energy performance of buildings, energy services. Energy audit, energy consultancy.
