|Two written tests are planned during the semester, each for 10 points. Laboratory exercises are obligatory, student must deliver laboratory reports, maximum for 10 points in total.|
Student must obtain minimum 15 points of 30 during the semester to attend the final examination.
|Learning outcomes of the course unit:|
|Student extends a knowledge of electric circuits and electromagnetic field theory. Attention is focused on systematic analysis of electric networks and numerical modelling of electromagnetic field.|
|Extension of knowledge on electromagnetic field obtained within the subjects Electrical engineering 1 and 2.
Systematic analysis of electric circuits - network graph, corectness. Branch voltage method, state variable method.
Systems with distributed parameters, effects on transmission lines. Transmission lines in tgransient state.
Electromagnetic field in various types of environments, interacion of electromagnetic fields with material. Numerical analysis of electromagnetic field - principles, advantages, drawbacks. Finite differences and finite elements method.
