make and present 2 semestral works – 20 + 10 points, written test – 20 points (a minimum of 26 points is obligatory to obtain during the semester), the final exam 50 points
 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Study accomplishments: By passing the subject student gains knowledge in the field of physical properties and construction of electrical drives and sensors of physical quantities. Student will learn to create mathematical models that he or she will use later on in synthesis of control systems.
 
Course contents:
Short study plan: Actuator, DC motor, semiconductor transducer for DC motors, basic methods of DC motor control, AC motor, semiconductor transducer for AC motors, basic methods of AC motor control, synchronous motor with permanent magnets, electrical sensors of current, rotational speed, position, moment, force, traction and temperature.
