The condition for passing the course is to pass the written exam and final interview.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Completing the course the student will acquire extensive theoretical and practical knowledge and experience in advanced technology training and mesoscopic quantum structures. Acquire practical experience working in clean rooms.
|1 Properties, preparation and imaging of surfaces and interfaces.
2 Properties, preparation and diagnostics of thin films.
3 Properties and preparation of quantum structures.
4 Properties of low-dimensional electron structures.
5 Electronic devices whose functioning is based on quantum structures.
6 Preparation of light-emitting diodes based on quantum wells.
7 Features and options of integrated optics.
8 Spintronics and special diodes for spintronic applications.
9 Properties and training opportunities for GaN power transistors.
10 Manufacture of transistor based on GaN.
11 Mesoscopic structures and their properties.
12 Concluding seminar.
